Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of santorini.wedding (the "Site") and any wedding planning, design, coordination or related services we provide ("Services"). By using the Site or engaging us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Santorini.Wedding is a luxury wedding planning studio based in Oia, Santorini, Greece, operating under Greek law. Our registered correspondence address is provided in our planning agreement.

2. Scope of Services

The scope of Services for any wedding is defined in a separate, signed Planning Agreement, which prevails over these general Terms in case of conflict. Quoted package prices on the Site are starting prices and may vary based on guest count, season, venue, vendor selection and custom requirements.

3. Bookings, Quotations & Payment

A booking is confirmed only upon (a) signature of the Planning Agreement and (b) payment of the non-refundable deposit specified therein, typically 30% of the agreed planning fee. Subsequent payments follow the milestone schedule in your Agreement. All prices are quoted in Euros (€), inclusive of Greek VAT where applicable.

4. Cancellation & Postponement

If you cancel or postpone, the deposit is non-refundable. Additional cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the wedding date the cancellation occurs and on vendor cancellation policies, which we negotiate to be as favourable as possible. Postponements are accommodated where feasible. We strongly recommend wedding insurance for all couples.

5. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to circumstances outside reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, pandemics, or airport closures. In such cases we will work in good faith to reschedule the celebration and recover deposits from third parties where possible.

6. Third-Party Vendors

We carefully select and coordinate vendors (photographers, florists, caterers, transport, accommodation, officiants) but each enters into a direct contract with you. We are not liable for vendor non-performance, although we will advocate strongly on your behalf and provide back-up options wherever possible.

7. Intellectual Property

All Site content — text, photographs, graphics, design — is the property of Santorini.Wedding or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or modify it without prior written consent. Photographs of real weddings shown on the Site are published with the couples' written permission.

8. Photography & Use of Imagery

Unless you opt out in writing in your Planning Agreement, we may use selected photographs of your wedding for portfolio, social media and editorial purposes. Names are anonymised on request.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the planning fee actually paid to us. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, then through EU online dispute resolution, and finally by the competent courts of Heraklion, Greece. EU consumers retain all mandatory rights afforded by the law of their country of residence.
